Residents of Dunmow have told of their shock after a man allegedly carrying two firearms was shot by armed police last night.Essex Police said officers were called to an incident which took place near the junction of North Street and Knights Way at about 10pm yesterday.The man who was shot received leg injuries in the incident and became the first person to be shot by Essex officers in 31 years, the force confirmed.He was later arrested and a police cordon remains in place today.Retired...
