Police were called when a woman sought refuge in Bishop's Stortford library from her abusive partner.The incident happened at about 5.30pm yesterday (Monday, June 8).There were reports of three police cars parked outside the library in The Causeway.This morning (Tuesday), a Hertfordshire Constabulary spokeswoman said that police were called at 5.33pm.A woman ran into the building, pursued by her male partner, who was arrested on suspicion of making threats.
