A new Neighbourhood Watch (NW) crime-fighting group has been launched in Bishop's Stortford.NW area co-ordinator Ian Thorogood, local residents and police community support officers (PCSOs) from the Safer Neighbourhood Team came together to celebrate the launch of the group in Northolt Avenue.It brings the number of watches in Stortford to 436, covering 1,727 addresses, or 11 per cent of the town's 15,654 dwellings, according to the 2011 Census.Neighbourhood Watch is based on the simple idea...
