Herts and Essex politicians have reacted to Jeremy Corbyn being announced as elected leader of the Labour Party yesterday (September 12).
The first-round victory for the Islington North MP saw him gain the role from first-preference votes with 59.5% of the vote.
Andy Burnham, who was deemed favourite when nominations first came in, trailed on 19% and Yvette Cooper gained 17%.
