A Bishop's Stortford road which is notorious for flooding has been closed again.
Stansted Road was shut earlier today (Wednesday) by police as torrential rain buffeted the town. The closure comes despite Thames Water believing it had found and resolved the cause of persistent flooding there, which had closed the road again on July 24.
