Driving rain in Bishop's Stortford has flooded businesses and roads this afternoon (Wednesday).
The downpour has seen standing water rise in the centre of town, with a torrent of water pouring down Bridge Street.
A Herts Fire and Rescue Crew has been called to deal with a flooded basement at Spirit, the clothing shop Spirit in North Street. Firemen are helping to remove jackets and other clothes from the underground stock room in preparation to pump water out.
