A Stortford daughter who wrote a poem on the "great torment" of her mum's dementia raised £1,170 for the Alzheimer's Society at a live performance.Carol Parradine, 54, read her poem Dementia Mind - a heartfelt insight into her 88-year-old mum Dorothy's condition - at Rhodes on Friday, August 14.
