An incredibly rare and extremely well-preserved 350-year-old wooden gun carriage, raised from the seabed off the Essex coast, was brought ashore today (Wednesday) by Historic England. It comes from one of England's most important 17th century shipwrecks - the London – which lies in two parts off Southend Pier.
