Three cows stampeded through Bishop's Stortford town centre this afternoon (Wednesday) after three other members of the herd were hit by a train at Cannons Mill Lane.The trio were eventually corralled – with a male captive in the South Street branch of National Tyres and Autocare and two females penned into the Archers Place cul-de-sac.
