A Stortford man began a three-year prison sentence on Thursday (July 9) after being convicted of shaking his baby son – as his family and the little boy's mum protest his innocence.Scaffolder Matthew Challis, 34, of Kingsmead Road, had pleaded not guilty to causing a child to suffer serious physical harm on March 19, 2013 at an address in Stansted Mountfitchet.However, he was convicted by a jury after a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.
