Fundraisers from Herts and Essex enjoyed a trip-of-a-lifetime to the Grand Canyon and raised £45,000 to fund clinical trials on breast cancer patients.A party of 21 travelled to the United States in May to trek part of the canyon in aid of the trials unit at St Margaret's Hospital in Epping and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.Organiser Symone White, 47, who lives in Takeley, said: "It was the most spectacular trek.
