Police have confirmed that around 50 plants, thought to be cannabis, were removed from a property in Bishop's Stortford yesterday (Wednesday).Hertfordshire Constabulary was called to John Dyde Close after a fire in a first-floor flat at around 8.30am.Firefighters extinguished the flames in about an hour. They said the cause of the blaze was accidental.Police officers discovered what they believed to be a cannabis factory.No arrests have been made. Investigations are continuing today.
