Essex County Fire and Rescue Service has released these shocking pictures of the aftermath of a collision involving a car and a van in Clavering.The smash happened in Pelham Road shortly before 7.30am yesterday (Monday).Firefighters from Newport and Stansted spent about an hour cutting a casualty free from the wreckage.The man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment of chest pains.
